Mazzy Star - So tonight that I might see

A great album from the two-piece alternative rock group. This album features dreamy acoustic songs with some psychedelic influences. Most people will recognise 'Into Dust' and 'Fade into you' but the whole album is very good, easy listening. I'd say get it even if it doesn't sound your cup of tea, for I thought it'd be not to my tastes but I sincerely like this album after a few listen throughs.

Nirvana - Unplugged in New York

An excellent, excellent album. Probably my second favourite Nirvana album, very interesting renditions of grunge songs. I've heard this is one of the few things Cobain actually enjoyed doing with Nirvana towards the end.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - F# A# Infinity

If you haven't got this, you need to fucking dowload this now. Essential original post-rock.
Without a doubt one of my favourite albums ever.

Boris - Flood

4 track album from the incredibly diverse sound of Boris that is just over an hour. An essential album for anyone into alternative music.

Hangedup - S/T

Hangedup are a 2 piece band formed by ex-members of A Silver Mt.Zion who use drums, violins and self-made instruments. I'd describe their sound as a raw and primitive version of post-rock but there is some great innovation in the album. This 8 track album is a personal love of mine, download this album even if it's for the cred.
